Scotland

On a brief trip to the Sutherland and Wester Ross regions of Northwest Scotland i was able to capture some shots of the dark foreboding landscape of rocky mountains, placid lochs and old ruins. Scotland has a marvellous sense of scenery and history rolled into one. The north may seem pretty grim at times but has stunning mountain scenery that is truly alpine while not having towering peaks. meanwhile in the south there are stunning woodland, blue, clue lochs and beautiful beaches.
